About this blog
The Junio Blog exists because most "kids and money" content in India lives in two equally unhelpful places — generic listicles that read like ChatGPT wrote them, or imported American advice that talks about $10 allowances and Roth IRAs for minors as if either were available here.
Indian families have specific, real questions. How much pocket money for a 13-year-old in Delhi. Whether to attach pocket money to chores or report cards or neither. What to do when a kid loses ₹500 to an Instagram scam. Whether the RBI even allows a debit card for a 14-year-old (yes — and there are specific rules). Which kids' card app actually works at the local kirana store.
Junio is the smart pocket-money card and money-skills app we built for Indian families. The blog is where we write longer, slower, more honest answers to the questions parents email us most. We will say "Junio isn't right for you if X" when that's true — we'd rather earn your trust than your install.

Editorial principles
- Specific over generic. "How much pocket money should a 12-year-old get in Delhi?" — not "How to teach kids about money."
- Real numbers, current rules. ₹ amounts and RBI guidelines reflect 2026 reality. We update when they change.
- Honest comparisons. When FamPay or Akudo is the better fit for your family, we say so.
- No financial advice. We write educational content. For specific PPI rules or grievances, we'll point you to the official source.
